When they show a "pan" on a beach, it shows the beauty and peacefulness of the scene. It really fit in with the scene, because the voice was talking about picturing yourself in a peaceful area.
With the "extreme long shot," it showed a great example of flying thoughout the countryside. It basically expressed what it's like to be free. Which is entirely unlike Ramon's position.
